Welcome to DeRot (“we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the DeRot mobile application, website, and related services (“Service”).

By accessing or using DeRot, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

legally able to enter into this agreement.

2. Use of the Service

You agree to:

use DeRot only for lawful purposes,

not attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service, and

not misuse features such as blocking, limits, or notifications.

We may suspend or terminate access if activity violates these Terms or harms the platform.

3. Accounts & Subscriptions

Some features require an account or subscription.

Subscription billing and payments are handled through third-party providers (e.g., Apple / Google / Stripe).

Prices, plans, and features may change over time.

Trial periods, refunds, and cancellations are governed by the respective app store policies unless otherwise stated.

You are responsible for maintaining your account security.

4. Screen-Time & Usage Features

DeRot may use device frameworks (such as system screen-time APIs) to display insights and enable blocking or limits.

The Service:

does not guarantee accuracy of usage metrics,

is intended for habit-building and awareness,

is not a medical, therapeutic, or diagnostic tool.

You remain responsible for how you use your device.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, designs, branding, software, and features are the property of DeRot or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.

6. Third-Party Services

Some features may rely on third-party integrations or platforms. We are not responsible for:

third-party policies,

availability,

or actions taken by those services.

Your use of third-party tools is at your discretion.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, including but not limited to reliability, performance, or fitness for a particular purpose.

We do not guarantee:

uninterrupted operation,

error-free performance,

or specific outcomes from usage.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DeRot shall not be liable for:

indirect, incidental, or consequential damages,

data loss, productivity loss, or habit outcomes,

or issues arising from device usage behavior.

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using the Service.
